Jett Travolta Foundation Donating More Money to Scientology Organizations

It’s no surprise, and I’ve written about it before: but John Travolta and Kelly Preston are continuing to donate tax free money from the non profit charity they started for their late son to Scientology. Of course, this is a little strange since Scientology’s beliefs may be what cost Jett Travolta his life, in the end. For years until the day Jett died the Travoltas insisted Jett was not autistic but suffered from Kawasaki Syndrome. He was not treated for autism as Scientology doesn’t allow treatment of mental or brain issues. Jett’s “manny” when he died wasn’t a trained nurse but a wedding photographer.
Nevertheless, the Travoltas remain devoted to the cause. According to the website for the foundation, www.jett-travolta-foundation.com, contributions have been made in 2013 to several different places. But one of them is Scientology’s questionable group in Haiti that’s recruiting poor people. And the other is the group that performs bogus “detoxification.”
The Haiti group is called GROup Dynamic for the Survival of Haiti. http://www.grodysh.org. This group is run two prominent Scientologists, Leslie Hobbs and Claude Reginald Jean. There’s no mention on their website about Scientology, of course. But their address is in Clearwater, Florida, where all the other Xenu businesses are clustered.

The Form 990 filed by Jett Travolta Foundation omits any detail of where their money went last year. Charities are mandated to list their gifts and grants. But this foundation simply didn’t. The foundation just says it gave grants totaling $120,800.
But on their form 990 for 2012, GRODYSH acknowledges a recent $40,000 donation from the Jett Travolta Foundation. Their total revenue claimed in 2012 was $95,000 so that’s nearly half of what they took in.

And then there’s the International Detoxification Academy. The Jett Travolta Foundation has already donated money to them in 2013 and did so in 2011. Also in 2011, Jett Travolta Foundation donated funds  to Narconon, and to Will Smith’s New Horizon School in Calabasas, California which teaches Scientology Study Tech curriculum.

John Travolta: 'I don't think I would be here without Scientology'

The actor, dancer and singer talks about his love of flying, taking advice from Marlon Brando and how Scientology has got him through life

Carmen Gray
The Guardian, Thursday 4 July 2013

Congratulations on your lifetime achievement award. (1) What's the best life advice you have been given?

Marlon Brando gave me great advice: never expect things from people they can't give you. That's hot. That'll save you a lot of heartbreak. And, think about it: it has a lot of tentacles. Because if you don't analyse what a person is capable of doing and if you're expecting one thing but you're getting another, well, why didn't you see that they could only give you that first thing? It's very powerful.

Do you still ever hit the dance floor?

Oh yeah, dancing's part of my soul. I enjoy it, it makes people happy, and it makes me happy.

Do you get tired of being in the spotlight?

I don't do as many movies now, so the pacing of them is better. Back in the days when I would do two or three movies a year and have to do world junkets for each of them – that was tiring, to be completely frank. But when I do a movie a year or so, or go to an event like this, there's not enough to tire me out. I do have ancillary commitments to Qantas, Breitling and Bombardier, and I do have to actively use my power in the press to help them get promotion.

What is the attraction of flying?

When I was a very little boy I lived underneath the air pattern of LaGuardia airport in New York and I watched the planes fly to their destinations. I was in love with the design of these airplanes. When I was eight, my sister took me on my first flight – then I was in love not just with watching, but also being on a plane. I grew up in a family of actors, in which air travel meant theatre and equalled these exciting vistas to me. Sports, entertainment and aviation are three of the most exciting professions in the world; you are dealing with the same magnitude.

So you are a thrill seeker?

Yeah, I think in a kind of global way, not so much that I need to run off a cliff or anything. I like the fast lane of things that matter to the world. Aviation matters to the world, entertainment matters to the world, the arts matter.

Scientology has had so much negative press. Why?

Well, you know, I love Scientology. I've been involved for 38 years, and I don't think I'd be here without it because I've had a lot of losses and different negative things that have happened over the years and it really got me through brilliantly. I would walk in to a session feeling one way and walk out feeling a lot better.

You were raised a Catholic. What is it that Scientology gives you that Catholicism couldn't?

There are techniques for actually ridding you of stresses and pain as opposed to an advisory or recommendation on how to live. I believe L Ron Hubbard resolved the human mind, and in resolving it he has also resolved human pain – that's what I really think has happened here.

You worked a lot with James Gandolfini. (2) What is your strongest memory of him?

I'll tell you two small stories that will explain how I feel about him. The background is that my father sold automobile tyres to his father in New York, and he would see my photograph in the store window, and it inspired him to be an actor. Later, we ended up doing five movies together. When my son passed away, (3) he would not leave the city until I was OK, he was worried about me, and I felt it was so human, and so unusual for an actor to have this depth of feeling about someone. Before that, we were shooting a little movie with Salma Hayek [Lonely Hearts]. He was going through a divorce and was very sad. I saw him backstage and said: "Jim, did I ever tell you something?" He said: "What?" and I said: "I loved you the moment I met you." He started to cry, because he needed to cry. That was a true connection, and I hope these two stories explain it a bit.

What is your biggest career low?

You have to understand my origins. I'm from a working-class family. We didn't have a lot, but we had the arts. You're talking to a guy who is making a living at doing what he loves doing – acting, singing and dancing. So any career ups and downs were not that significant to me, the only things that really powerfully impinged on me were my losses, and there were many in my life. Those had an impact, but short of that, movies – I love them, but they're not life.

JOHN Travolta  being watched by Scientology

JOHN Travolta is being kept on a tight leash following Leah Remini‘s defection from Scientology.

Church officials are apparently worried the Hollywood actor might jump ship too.

At the 87th birthday celebration for Tony Bennett in L.A., witnesses say John and his daughter, Ella Bleu, 13, were being followed by a Scientology minder named Angie.

“She spent most of the night aggressively staring at anyone Johny talked to,” a source said.

“It was very uncomfortable, but John acted like it was normal.

“They badly need John to talk up Scientology to drown out the fiasco with Leah.”

Is Tom Cruise and John Travolta Gay? Facts About the Scientology Members’ Homosexual Rumors

By now, everyone has heard the rumors that Tom Cruise and John Travolta are gay. But is this true? We have the facts about claims which suggest the high-profile Scientology members are homosexual.
Tom Cruise and John Travolta are totally not gay! And you can tell that because they were both willing to spend tons of money on making sure that you know exactly how not gay they are.
For example, Wikipedia has an entire subsection under the entry of “Tom Cruise,” entitled “Litigation.”
Like Us on Facebook
BTW, You have to be pretty litigious to get an entire section of your Wikipedia page dedicated to lawsuits you personally generated--Which is why we want to stress how totally NOT gay Tom Cruise is. Would someone who was gay spend a fortune on lawsuits preventing other people from claiming that he was a homosexual? Absolutely NOT!
And just so you’re really clear on this, be sure to check out the first paragraph in Tom Cruise’s “Litigation” section:
“During Cruise's marriage to Nicole Kidman, the couple endured public speculation about their sex life and rumors that Cruise was gay. In 1998, he successfully sued the Daily Express, a British tabloid which alleged that his marriage to Kidman was a sham designed to cover up his homosexuality. In May 2001 he filed a lawsuit against gay porn actor Chad Slater. Slater had allegedly told the celebrity magazine Actustar that he had had an affair with Cruise. Cruise denied this, and in August 2001, Slater was ordered to pay $10 million to Cruise in damages after Slater declared he could not afford to defend himself against the suit and would therefore default. Cruise also sued Bold Magazine publisher Michael Davis, who alleged but never confirmed that he had video that would prove Cruise was gay. The suit was dropped in exchange for a public statement by Davis that the video was not of Cruise, and that Cruise was heterosexual.”
In case you wondering about John Travolta...drumroll please...he, too, is totally NOT gay. In fact, his insurance spent $84,000 settling two claims that reported Travolta sexually harassed or assaulted two unnamed gentlemen, via GAWKER, that claims:
“Gawker has obtained an internal report of insurance claims made against Travolta's production company, Constellation Productions Inc., showing four other parties privately issued attorney demand letters "alleging sexual assault" within the last year, including the actor's longtime stunt double, his former driver, and a physical therapist. What's more is that Travolta's insurer paid out $84,500 against two of these six claims.”
You can see a picture of the insurance claim here.
Just to recap, these two guys who LOVE to sue people, that are Scientologists, who love to sue people EVEN MORE, are totally 100% straight. Can’t be more clear than that!

John Travolta And Kelly Preston Locked In Loveless Marriage – Church Of Scientology Won’t Let John Be Gay!

John Travolta and Kelly Preston have their Scientology overlords to answer to, which is why they’ll never, ever be able to break up. It doesn’t matter that John’s sexuality has become something of an open secret over the past few years, and it doesn’t matter that Kelly Preston probably always knew that John was gay. What does matter is the image that they portray, the image of a happily married couple with no marital issues.

But would a happily married man spend most of his free time in massage parlors, feeling up masseuses every chance he gets? Seriously, Hollywood is no longer the place it used to be in the 90s, and coming out as gay doesn’t really hurt people’s careers anymore. John Travolta is not even considered a leading man anymore, and as a character actor, his sexuality won’t affect his career or the roles he’s offered. The only thing it might affect is his relationship with the Church of Scientology, but there’s the rub, right?

Scientology has somehow managed to create a cult-like following among its celebrity practitioners, and John and Kelly definitely fall into that sphere of belonging. In fact, a new report from the National Enquirer suggests that the only reason John and Kelly are still together is because the Church has forbidden them to separate. A source tells the Enquirer, “I think Kelly feels trapped, but she’ll follow what church leaders say because she and John are now Scientology’s most high profile couple. They’ve been told it would be ‘disastrous’ to the church if they divorced, so to shore up their reportedly crumbling marriage they’ve been advised to undergo some new counseling.”

Now that Tom Cruise is no longer married, Kelly and John actually are Scientology’s highest-profile couple, not counting Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. So if Kelly and John were to break up after many years of marriage, the press would definitely have a field day with the Scientology connections, much as they did with Tom and Katie Holmes. So yeah, I believe that Scientology leaders have influenced Kelly and John to stay together, and unfortunately, I don’t see them leaving the religion any time soon. John will just have to stick to his massage parlors, and hope that the public is too preoccupied with other scandals to notice.
Will John Travolta/Kelly Preston divorce? Let us know in the comments section below!

Travolta: I ignore sex life rumours

John Travolta has dismissed allegations about his sexuality - saying that they are "every celebrity's Achilles heel".

The Hollywood star has faced rumours about his private life for years, including his former pilot claiming he had a romantic relationship with the Pulp Fiction and Saturday Night Fever star.

But the Grease actor dismissed any claims, telling The Daily Beast that they were based on greed.

"This is every celebrity's Achilles heel. It's just about people wanting money. That's all. It happens on many levels," he said.

"I don't care that much about it. Other people may attack it back more than I do, but I let all the media stuff go a long time ago because I can't control it. I think that's why it persists, to some degree."

The actor's son Jett died at the age of just 16 after suffering a seizure during a family holiday in the Bahamas in 2009.

Travolta, who recently promoted his new film The Forger at the Toronto International Film Festival, said he had been disturbed by some of the media coverage of his family tragedy.

"I found it most offensive with the loss of my son. I felt like that was the lowest I'd ever felt. Sex stuff is always going to be interesting to somebody, but you stay away from family. You really should. With that, I always felt like the media - not all of the media, but parts of it - went too low there."

The actor said he had no career regrets - even making Battlefield Earth, the 2000 film based on Scientology founder L Ron Hubbard's 1982 novel of the same name.

"No way, are you kidding? Why would I ever regret that? I had the power to do whatever I wanted, and I chose to do a book that I thought was worthy of making into a movie. It's a beautiful film. It's a good movie. Again, the media angle confused the movie with [Scientology]," he said.

John Travolta interview: Star talks new film The Forger and dealing with the loss of his son

...The other area of Travolta’s life that fascinates is his affiliation to Scientology. He was born Roman Catholic but converted to Scientology in 1975 after he was given the L Ron Hubbard book Dianetics while filming the movie The Devil’s Rain. Travolta attempted to block an exposé documentary on Scientology being aired on the BBC. Earlier this year, when speaking at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in a public on-stage conversation, he said that his religion helped him cope with the death of his son: “I will forever be grateful to Scientology for supporting me for two years solid, I mean Monday through Sunday. They didn’t take a day off, working through the different angles of the techniques to get through grief and loss, and to make me finally feel I could get through a day.”

Religion remains a grey area of his life. It contributed to what many believe is Travolta’s career nadir and one of the worst films of all time, 2000’s Battlefield Earth, based on another book by Scientology founder Hubbard. Some thought it might break Travolta’s career, but as he keeps on proving, no matter what the hardship, the dancing superstar manages to find a way back....
