For a clean looking card design:

However, after checking out my closest copy centre I figured out it was cheaper to get photographs printed at 3x4" than to get business cards. This means that I can print them out at full colour, which is most excellent. So I quickly put together a card:

With only 'youfoundthecard.com' on it

Thoughts?

I'm planning on getting 500 of these. From the photo store I know they're selling prints at 19 cents each for 250 or more. Seeing as 3x4 is half a 6x4 I can get 500 of them for $47.50.

At my nearest copy centre for 500 single sided, black and white cards it was a little over $100.

Only problem with photographs is that it's not quite as thick as a business card and it has the whole watermark on the back thing going on. But it looks prettier! ^_^

A cheap alternative is to print them out on normal sheets of paper. Doesn't look so nice and is not as tough, but if you're putting them inside books or similar, it doesn't really matter. I've done 3x4 per sheet, and doublesided them. Works fine.

Well, the image is already colour adjusted so all you'd need is a company to cheaply print it, even if it's on rubbish paper.

I'd check out the local Warehouse. Some of their stores have photolabs that use Kodak paper and they ain't too shabby. Not sure about their prices, however, but I can't imagine they'd be much.

I would really love to see a NZ focused Scilon website. I don't think we're there yet, as we don't have enough meat on our NZ Scilon bones - but we're getting there. Especially as they make the stories for us with their masturbatory love!

Updated first post. I thought it looked better with only the URL on it. I printed half with and half without the text, personally.
