Hi All, I joined you (briefly) yesterday -- thank you for all your efforts to get that together!

I agree with OnceBitten's comments earlier, and want to draw attention to them:

Christchurch people are really conservative.  They don't like protests and ruckuses because it just isn't 'cricket'. 
The pamphlets would also be more impinging if they had messages about love and family rather than how awful scn is.  People here don't know how bad it is overseas.  They don't have the exposure to the corruptness, the abuses and the deaths of members.

And we need to think about how we present things to the public, a piece of paper with no meaning to them will quickly wind up in the rubbish; if we give them a "hook" (some reason for *them* to be interested -- for example *saying* something like, "Did you know...?"), they are more likely to hold onto it (and hopefully do something about it!)

A couple of things to think about for next month ;)
