It would be great if you could check out the Riccarton Market on Sunday...see if silly Mike McAuliff is still trying to sell Dianetics at his stall.

Well...we'll see if we're awake. If so, sounds like a plan, and if anyone else wants to be there too.

If the weather forecast is correct, you'll be there at the same time as the snow!!

Riccarton Markets on Sundays...not sure he sells many if any!  His name is Mike McAuliff.  Feel sorry for him...he has to sell them to meet the targets that Mike Ferriss sets him...and I'm sure that he doesn't meet the targets so he probably buys them himself to keep the numbers up and avoid being Sec checked!  His garage is bound to be full of copies that he has had to buy!

Not to worry.  There's always another time.  We'll plan it better and DO IT!

Hey all,

I was just pointed at this forum from WWP.  Thanks to Lenny over there for the link.

I'd be interested in coming on a raid.  Or at least showing up in support if I can't get gear together in time.  Any suggestions on where to get the mask from?

Last Monday I put together the first Skeptics in the Pub gathering at The Twisted Hop which was where I heard about the stall at Riccarton Markets.  One thing lead to another and I ended up here.

I'm heading out to the market tomorrow.  If anyone else is there look for the bald guy, lots of black and really big boots.

Heading out to the Market now.  Taking the bus.  I live on the other side of town.

Found it. First time I've seen one in the wild.  :)  He almost always had someone sitting there taking the "Free stress test".  Really wish I had some fliers to hand out as people wandered away.  I'll have to plan ahead next time...

Ummm...best not!  The Rotary Club runs the market under quite strict rules which exclude the handing out of flyers!
